How to use help command for ls

How to use help command in linux to fetch use or other command like mkdir,ls etc?
When I try help, I am getting error
help -m ls
-bash: help: no help topics match `ls". Try `help help" or `man -k ls" or `info ls".

The help command is limited and it is not possible to get info about all the commands using help keyword.

To find complete details about ls command you need to use man ls command in the terminal.
