How to delete a lambda function

Question

I have created a lambda function and now I don't have a use of it, How can I delete it?

Can someone help me with a descriptive method?

You can simply do it from the console itself.

Click on the lambda function you want to delete and then click on action and delete. Its gone.

Click on delete 

Then delete.
