Sendkeys functionality is not working.

WebElement username = driver.findElement(By.xpath("//*[@id='username']"));      

username.sendKeys("123456");

I had the same issue. The problem only appears when using Chrome 65. It is working fine for with Chrome 64.

Facing Error

Looks like your chrome version doesn't match with the web drivers version. Try running 

npm install -g chromedriver

This should do!
