Effective management of a number of projects needs intelligent planning, the right tools, and a bit of flexibility. Some winning strategies include:
1. Plan Ahead
Not everything is equally important. I'd rather use the Eisenhower Matrix (important vs. urgent) or a to-do list to focus on what's important on a daily basis.
2. Utilize a Project Management Tool
Trello, Asana, ClickUp, and Notion allow visualization of tasks, setting deadlines, and tracking progress. Board organization makes tasks seem doable.
3. Time Blocking & Scheduling
I schedule time for focused work on every project rather than multitasking. I use Google Calendar or Notion to keep myself on track.
4. Check-Ins & Updates
A daily or weekly review, alone or with my team, catches issues early.
5. Keep it Simple
I divide big projects into small steps to keep the momentum and make deadlines less stressful.
6. Give Yourself Some Breathing Room
Things rarely go 100% as planned, so I always try to build in some buffer time for last-minute surprises or revisions.
7. Fearless Delegation
I welcome proposals to work together. It doesn't have to be done alone.
