What are reflections in java ? Where is it used?

Reflection API is used to modify or examine the behavior of methods, classes, interfaces at runtime.

Reflection can be used to get information about –

1. Class: getClass() is used to get the name of the class 

2. Constructors: getConstructors() is used to get the public constructors of the class to which an object belongs

3. Methods: getMethods() is used to get the public methods of the class to which an object belongs
