Get certified - thats the first thing I’d always recomend, once you have some ‘proven’ skills you can look to make a shift into jobs requiring those skills.

At a high level I always suggest the following very rough study plan for AWS certification.

1. Get an AWS account - there is a free tier for the first 12 months, some service have a free allocation forever. You cant beat the practical experience that a free account delivers.
2. Get some quality online training which will help focus you on the right areas needed for the exam AND for your technical growth.

After you have looked at the 5 main AWS exams - there are a few new ones just released the specialty exams
