Get certified - thats the first thing I’d always recomend, once you have some ‘proven’ skills you can look to make a shift into jobs requiring those skills.
At a high level I always suggest the following very rough study plan for AWS certification.
- Get an AWS account - there is a free tier for the first 12 months, some service have a free allocation forever. You cant beat the practical experience that a free account delivers.
- Get some quality online training which will help focus you on the right areas needed for the exam AND for your technical growth.
After you have looked at the 5 main AWS exams - there are a few new ones just released the specialty exams
