Excel Arrow Key is Creating a Formula

I've never encountered a problem like the one I'm encountering with Excel 2010. When I use the arrow key to move to the next cell, it tries to add the following cell instead of advancing to the next cell.

Example: If I press the right arrow key from Cell A1, instead of moving to Cell A2, Cell A1 displays "+A2." Has this ever happened to anyone else?

Because it occurs regardless of which spreadsheet I am in, I believe it to be some strange setting that may be enabled or disabled. Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Regarding the spreadsheet scrolling when you use the arrow keys, this is NOT the issue. I've already done it and been there.

Your scroll lock is on. This is a bug in Excel that surfaces sometimes -, particularly in the 64-bit office.
