How to get rid of a value error in Excel

I'm currently attempting to identify this #Value problem on my macOS Excel spreadsheet, but I'm afraid I have no idea what is causing it.

In essence, I chose the first entry of Ch2, separated it with a "-," and then chose the first entry of Ch1.

Changing the format to "Number" doesn't actually change the underlying value. Most likely you're dealing with text-that-looks-like-a-number. It may need TRIMmed and CLEANed .
