What is the equivalent of describe table in SQL Server

I want to know what columns and types my SQL Server database has. As opposed to utilizing a GUI like Enterprise Manager, I would rather accomplish this with a SQL. Exists a way to accomplish this?

Use the sp_columns stored procedure:

exec sp_columns MyTable
