Vertical Text Direction

Question

I've been attempting to make text move vertically like we can in ms-word tables, but I've only been successful in doing THIS, which I'm not satisfied with because it's a box rotated. Is it possible to have text that actually indicates vertical direction?

In the demo, I only set the rotation to 305 degrees, thus the text is not vertical. However, I simply made the sample to demonstrate rotation, not 270 degrees.
