Installing Hive Hadoop in VM

I have a windows 7 machine. I am planning to learn Hadoop & Hive. So I installed Virtual box and then created a VM with Ubuntu 13.04. Now I am planning to first install Hadoop & Hive in my system. I went through the download link of Hadoop and found multiple files over there. I am very confused. Can anyone help me out in installing Hadoop & Hive onto my VM.

For Hadoop installation, I would recommend you follow this tutorial:
