Closed loop in Talend

0 votes

Can someone tell me whether Talend supports closed loop or not? While working on a Talend Job it ended up in a closed loop. Below is the screenshot of my Job, where schemas of both the tMap components are same. But, once either of the tMap is connected to the tUnite component the other one refuses to connect. Can someone explain why this is happening?

As you might know,  in Talend all the underlying programs are converted into Java at the backend. Java can’t specifically pick out the data from various files as it uses the programming loops for each data flow.

But, tMap and tReplicate components split up the output data which can’t be rejoined in this way.

Hope this was what you were looking for.

Thanks.

Hi,

Talend specifies that tUnite cannot be used for uniting branches from the same source, so u 'd need to have two different branches (eventually one source duplicated and two tmap before reuniting everything
