Could not open input file artisan

I got this error on CLI while creating a laravel project.

Could not open input file: artisan
Script php artisan clear-compiled handling the post-install-cmd event returned with an error

Can someone please tell me why this error occurred? and how can I solve this?

This error happens because you didn't install composer on your project. To solve this just change the permission of the artisan file.

For Linux:

chmod 777 artisan

For windows

• use the file property
