What does docker system prune -a actually do

0 votes
My free space was 900 MB before running docker system prune -a, and after running it, I have 65 GB of free space, despite the programme reporting that it only cleaned 14.5 GB.

Is the report just incorrect, or am I overlooking something?

The docs don't say anything new, and it would be normal if it cleared only 14.5 GB, so this only leads to one conclusion: I'm doing it wrong. What are your thoughts on this?
