Not able to start docker Desktop in Windows

0 votes

In Microsoft Windows 10 professional, I am unable to run the Docker container. The cause of this error, as I discovered, is that the Docker engine is failing to start.

I can only use the docker version command after installing docker.

-> version —docker

While running any further docker commands on CMD, I discovered an error stating that the docker daemon is not operating in Windows.

I also enabled (checked) the Hyper-V option in Control panel -> Programs -> Turn Windows features on or off under "Turn Windows features on or off."

The error is:

System.InvalidOperationException
Failed to set version to socker-desktop: exit code: -1
