IOT FW update process - Azure IOT vs Google IOT

Question

1. Is there an elegant way of implementing the Azure process using Google Cloud services?
2. Considering Google IOT alone here, what is the recommended way of doing FW updates in this environment?

Mender.io is a good place to start. It's cross-platform, and you can use it with Azure and Google Cloud Platform. The application is user-friendly and allows for end-to-end upgrades with a variety of settings (partial updates, A/B updates, package and container updates, etc.).
