Adding new filter to an existing dashboard on Tableau

0 votes
I'm new to Tableau and have tried all I can to discover solutions through online forums and the internet, but it appears that I haven't been successful.

I'm attempting to add a filter after creating a dashboard. In the Filter part of the sheet, I've inserted the Dimension and chose Show Filter. This is not being reflected in the Dashboard for some reason. Has anybody else had this problem? Is it true that you can't add additional filters to a dashboard once it's been created?

Thanks

By clicking the down arrow on the top right of the worksheet and choosing Filters and the dimension you wish to filter against, you may add a filter to a worksheet in a dashboard.
