Converting a large XML file to Excel

0 votes

I want to convert the following XML file (WARNING: it's 40MB) to a more readable format. Any hints on how to do this?

I have been trying to convert it to Excel, but it keeps crashing. My primary goal is to be able to sort the different projects in the file on the basis of year or Allterms.

Using the web URL, import an XML file into Excel.
Open the Excel file into which the data will be imported.
Toggle to the Data tab.

Select the 'Get Data' option from the Get & Transform group.

Select 'From Other Sources' from the drop-down menu.

Select 'From Web' from the drop-down menu.

Copy and paste the URL for the XML data into the 'From Web' dialogue box.

Click the OK button.
