Switch career from developer role to support engineer for Few time only

Hi All, I joined as a fresher and worked as a web designer for 1 years in a company. but salary is too low as per my requirements. I have skills in web technologies HTML, CSS, and programming skills on core Java. so i have tried for other company as a java developer but i did not get any offer. Now i got a offer from one company for Application support engineer. So i m thinking to join this job for few months because they are giving better salary than this company where i am working. after all i want to switch to a Java or full-stack developer role either in the same company or a different company.so i want to know that for salary reason is it a good decision for join job of Application support engineer ......because i hve no any offer for java developer now......but my target is always to get a job of java developer....
