Determining HDFS space in a cluster

Question

I am running a Hadoop cluster with a NameNode on host namenode1. Is there any way through which I can determine available HDFS space in my cluster?

There are two ways to determine available HDFS space.

1. Run hadoop fs –du/and locate the DFS Remaining value.

2. Run hadoop dfsadmin –report and locate the DFS Remaining value.
