how can i get a job after 6 tears gap in educatucation in IT I worked as a software developer for 1 year but i dont have experience letter

I have passed out as MCS(MSc Computer science) in 2014.after my education i have done a course "Diploma in Dotnet " for 6 months.and then worked as a software developer in a small scale company for 1 year(2015).but i dont have experience letter and as of now i have 6 years gap.but i want to start my career anyway.pls suggest what i have to do to start my career
